Unethical Practice

1.Why do you think that most people use unethical practices to cheat academically?
One reason I think people use unethical practices to cheat academically because they procrastinate and then don’t have time to do the paper, like Jack and his game. Another reason that most people use unethical practices to cheat academically is because it is the easy way out like in Sameer, Adeline, and Mohammad.

2.Which one of the four offenses committed you think should have been let off with a warning rather than expelled? Why?
I think that Sandra should have been let go with a warning rather than expelled, because she didn’t  really commit plagiarism, Mohammed did by copying of her paper.

3.What kinds of problems will follow the students with this on their record?
If the students have this on their record, then it will follow them their whole life. Whenever they apply for a job or try to get into another school then thats what they will see.

4.Search the unethical academic practices or plagiarism at the school you want to attend and see what the offense for these practices are.
Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design: If someone sucpects that you cometed plagiarism then you will be jugded before a panel and if they find you gulity than the panel conceders how bad it was and what punishment you shall have. Some punisments areyou have to redo the assment, redo the unit, or even the whole year, and if you do have to redo any it is capped at a D- and you have to pay for the classes again.

MacroLab

Time, Speed, and Distance: 

In this lesson we learned how to make the Sphero move. Another thing that we learned in this lesson is how to make the Shpero go faster, so that it could cover more distance in less time.

2D Geometry:

In this lesson we learned how to change the color of the ball. Another thing we learned in this lesson is how to make the ball go in angles. 

Sixth Sense Technology

One thing that I thought was amazing was that you could use a plain sheet of paper to do just about anything with the six sense tech. Another thing that I thought was amazing was that you could kind of copy and paste something from a book or picture. The third thing that I thought was really cool was that you look at a book and see reviews and ratings. The final thing that I thought was really could was that you could take a picture with your hands. Some problems with the sixth sense tech are that it might brake easy and it would probably get kind of annoying to wear all the time. Another thing that might not work with it is we could use it so much that we wouldn't really pay as much attention to other people, like we do now with phones but worst.

My Favortie App

One of my favorite apps is Hangouts. On hangouts you can have multiple conversations with anybody with a Gmail account. You can just chat, send pictures or videos, or have a live video call. I use hangouts to talk to my friends because I can use it on about any device my phone, my computer, my iPod. Before I started using hangouts I used FaceTime (which is on apple devices) I could only video call one person, but now with hangouts I can video chat up to ten people!  I like hangouts because it helps me connect wherever and whenever.

Why was all of the tracking a concern for the speaker?

The speaker was concerned from all of the tracking because most of the tracking that was being done was being done without the speakers consent, and without Collusion he would have never know that the tracking was going on. Trackers with my information may be selling it to other companies, using it to watch me, or doing things like using my information to make their own profiles for other sites. Tracking may be a good thing if the sites are using it to find out more about me to personalize my experience, such as YouTube or Good Reads. But tracking can also be a bad thing because the sites could be using the information to do bad things like hacking or identity theft. I was kind of surprise when so many dots appeared even when it was his very young daughter. At first I would think there wouldn't be very many, but after watching the video I would think there would probably be a lot. I usually just watch Netflix, go on Tumblr, and play some games; I don’t really do that much online.
